I am very proud to be the Head-teacher of our school which is committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning. In our last inspection report 36% of lessons seen were awarded the highest grade for quality and our results continue to rise year on year. At Cynffig we are committed to high standards both from our staff and also from our pupils.  Standards really do matter!

On Thursday November 3^rd, Cynffig was delighted to welcome some remarkable and inspirational visitors from Kampala in Uganda.  The Destiny Africa Choir is made up of young people between 8 and 16 who may have experienced  the horrors of the rebel war in the north of the country, been touched by the impact of HIV / AIDS on their parents and families, or lived in such desperate poverty that they have been vulnerable as child labourers, or to malnutrition and abuse.
